Farmers are underserved from a technology perspective
Our objective is to find out ways to deliver technology directly to the smallholder farmers for free. We have two groups of customers:
the smallholder farmers and the governments themselves.
Challenges
Create interactive communication channel between farmers and the Ministry of Agriculture
In need of: Allow farmers to know more information regarding crops or weather information.
the varying literacy levels areas of Egypt
In need of: Enable farmers to get information without literacy limitation
Delayed diagnosis & absence of agronomists
In need of: a way that help farmers to do an early diagnosis until the monthly appointment with the agronomist comes
Solutions & Services
To reach our objective, we created a mobile app called HudHud which allows us to use Ai , nlp , and other technologies to improve or evaluate conditions in order to recommend improvements for individual farms. Then ,Train the individuals to show the farmer how to upload a picture of crops , and maybe show them a couple of tricks within the app to get more benefit for their farm in a farm-specific analysis through seeding to harvesting, identifying plant diseases and pests, and providing treatment.
